Product Description

THE FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS cast make the transition from Emmy Award-Winning comedy show to feature film in this spoof Horror reminiscent of Kiwi legend Peter Jackson's work. A SUPERNATURAL FORCE brings together 2 lost souls united by their love of literature, who after a sinister twist of fate are diagnosed with terminal cancer and the pair are sent to an experimental drug-testing facility run by a creepy Doctor (FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS' BRET MCKENZIE). WHEN THE FACILITY IS LOCKED DOWN for the weekend and the drugs begin to take effect, the human guinea pigs begin to experience ominous hallucinations pointing to a horrific murder. Unsure of where reality stops and the drugs have taken hold, the apparitions become more threatening and the only way to leave the facility alive is to discover the truth about the haunting dark secret.

About the Director

After cutting his teeth on Peter Jackson's team for The Lord Of The Rings franchise, Jason directed the hilarious Kiwi cult classic 'Tongan Ninja'. In his latest film he worked with the HBO Emmy-Award Winning cast from Flight Of The Conchords and directed their first feature film which has been likened to Peter Jackson's earlier works such as Bad Taste and Braindead.

I got this for christmas after wanting to watch it for ages. I cannot believe they've got away with this repackaging. It's just an old film with a new front after the success of the TV show. The film is appalling, and cannot do either the comedy or the horror very well. Didn't laugh once.

Decided to watch this mainly because of the FotC cast but their parts are so brief and incidental it's hard to see why they're in it at all. The plot is weak, predictable and cliche-ridden, the main characters' acting is pretty awful, happily its only 70 minutes of your life you'll never be getting back!

This film is atrocious...go watch the trailer on YouTube. Now, take it from me, they did not just put together a bad trailer - that really is what the film is like. Read more

A Ghost story with laughs

is it supposed to be this bad?
I came out wondering if this was a spoof or if it was just generally awful. On the other hand it killed a few hours and for a few quid its not too bad.
