The Diablo Toasted Sandwich Maker is titanium coated for scratch resistant non stick cooking and is light compact and dishwasher safe.There is no need to plug it in just place over any direct heat source such as electric ceramic gas or even a barbecue! From simple cheese sandwiches to pizza Calzone or cherry turnovers the Diablo makes a devilishly good toasted snack. Please note: Not suitable for use with induction cookers. The Diablo toasted snack maker is 33cm in length with a diameter of 11cm.

This Diablo works an absolute treat, you get 2 bits of bread and push them into the diable a bit like a mince pie!

Then fill with whatever is in the fridge (cheese and ham is the best!) and then close the unit.

Put it on the hob for 3 minutes each side and it makes a cracking toastie sandwich.

Very easy to clean as it is titanium coated and does what it says on the tin.

Also makes a great little bread and butter pudding!!

Strongly recommended and a nice gift.

Well, I've made quite a few toasties with my diablo now, and have got it down to a fine art. I just love chopped ham and guyere cheese, but best of all (dont laugh- you gotta try this) Bacon and thinly sliced bananas. I know it sounds cgreazy - but try it - delish!!

My one gripe about the Diablo - and its a serious gripe, is that it is way too SMALL.

They should have made it twice the size. the toasties are OK for a small child, and 8 year old say, - but for a grown man - you need 3 of them for a decent bite.

Why on earth cannot some manufacturer make somwthing like the Diablo - which lets face it - aint difficult ! But make it the actual size of a slice from a small loaf??? What's wrong with that??

The Diablo is a great idea - its just too damn small tho.

This really does make very nice toasted sandwiches. I have been using mine for a few years now and the only gripe is that you waste a lot of bread - but that keeps the birds happy, I suppose.

You have to put a piece of bread in each side and press it to fit, then you have lots of space to insert the ingredients of your choice. The two sides then close together, chopping the bread into a circular shape (hence the waste).

The handle stays cool but, as another reviewer said, you do have to be careful not to touch the sandwich end as that stays hot for a while.

The finished sandwich slides easily out once it has been toasted and always looks good. I have tried a few sandwich makers over time but this is the only one that has delivered continually good results and is built to last.
