I must say I totally disagree from the first reviewer. I certainly mean no disrespect, but I found that most of the ingredients were quite easy to find in the supermarket. The two most "exotic" ingredients in the book are, Lavender (I got lucky and have my own plant) and cardamom (can be found at spice store). Many of the other ingredients possibly deemed "exotic," like oat flour, whole wheat flour, and spelt flour, can regularly be found at supermarkets all across the nation. Heck, I'm from Oklahoma, and even our local supermarkets carry spelt flour now!
As for the recipes themselves, SO GOOD! and easy! I like to mix up my weekly menu's so this book was a perfect addition to my home (or should I say, mobile device! lol). Also, I have a number of relatives in my family who are diabetic and they could all benefit from these recipes. I am certainly sending this book their way! And for only .99 cents, I say this book is a no-brainer.
