This book has a wide variety of information on most aspects of diabetes (types I and II) from experts in the field. The format is primarily one of FAQ's and answers separated into easily accessible chapters. The book was recommended to me by the diabetic nurse at my local hospital and is up-to-date providing value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for newly diagnosed person 29 Dec 2012

I bought this for my neice who has recently been diagnosed as I found this book very helpful when my daughter was diagnosed 20 years ago. It is great to refer to when questions arise we did not read it as a normal reading book, but looked at certain sections when we needed answers to questions or just more information and guidance.
You may need to check out internet for more recent updates on some of the products like insulin pumps
