The complete first season of the popular US comedy starring Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson. When free-spirited yoga instructor Dharma Finkelstein (Elfman) meets conservative attorney Greg Montgomery (Gibson) it's love at first sight. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no love in the air when Dharma's hippie parents and Greg's blue-blood establishment parents finally meet after their children have already married at a drive-thru chapel in Reno. With friends and family all suggesting that a quick annulment would be best, it's no surprise that the couple begin to second-guess their impulsive nuptials. But it's soon evident that nothing can stand in the way of true love. The episodes comprise: 'Pilot', 'And the In-Laws Meet', 'Shower the People You Love With Love', 'And Then There's the Wedding', 'The Ex-Files', 'Yoga and Boo-Boo', 'Indian Summer', 'Mr. Montgomery Goes to Washington', 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Father', 'The First Thanksgiving', 'Instant Dharma', 'Haus Arrest', 'Do You Want Fries With That?', 'Old Yeller', 'The Second Coming of Leonard', 'Dhamra and Greg's First Romantic Valentine's Day Weekend', 'The Official Dharma and Greg Episode of the 1998 Winter Olympics', 'Daughter of the Bride of Frankenstein', 'Dharma's Tangled Web', 'The Cat's Out of the Bag', 'Spring Forward, Fall Down', 'Much Ado During Nothing' and 'Invasion of the Buddy Snatcher'.

Great series. Viewing experience marred slightly by the long anti-piracy spiel at the start of each disk (I found myself musing that a pirated version at least wouldn't make me sit through 3 mins of diatribe that I obviously didn't need to read if I had bought this copy). Plus you have to go into a sub-menu to play each episode... why no option to play from one place or a 'play all'?

This is one of the very best comedy series I've seen (even after repeated viewing).
I would definitely recommend Dharma & Greg! Truly well worth watching!

I had only ever seen a few episodes of this sitcom on TV years ago until I found this item on Amazon and snapped it up immediately and it was well worth it. Its well scripted, fantastic casting and very funny to watch. Jenna Elfman shines as Dharma, the hippy chick and bounces well off Thomas Gibson who plays Greg. Very funny and I cant wait til the next series comes out!

I've watched a couple of episodes of this series years ago on tv and used to loved. I was, however, a bit afraid of finding old and not so funny, but nope, still good laugh, not tyring to watch, easy fun. Love it!

This was pure joy from start to finish - shame there are so few of them.

I already loved the show so there are no complaints here. On each disc there is one episode with commentary by Jenna Elfman and the actors who play her mother and father. Not bad.
My only complaint is the setup of the DVD. There is no option for playing all episodes in one go. After each episode there is a three-step process to get to the next one. Unnecessarily clumsy.
But for anyone who likes to laugh, Dharma and Greg are guaranteed to brighten your day!

I had seen some episodes late at night - I think thats the best slot it got here in the UK at the time & loved them - it is still as good today infact I would say is more relevant now with the issues explored such as tolerance, acceptance, the mixing of politics & new-age social moves etc - talk about ahead of its time, and the two leads (dharma & greg) are some serious eye-candy too :)

Brilliant, must watch. Will not be disappointed, will have you laughing out loud. Only bad thing is you can't buy all 5 seasons on DVD and i dont think there are any plans to bring the rest out.
