    We use loose tea and needed a replacement for our long standing teapot. Though it is a good pourer and the quality of the ceramic / colour is good - (good value for money), it has two basic flaws. If you do not make at least half a pot (3 mugs) the water does not reach the bottom of the filter basket. We have always had a nylon filter basket and this is a metal mesh. It lets some of the finer parts of the tea though and you get a residue of fine tea bits in the bottom of your mug. As generally we are only making tea for one or two we will probably have to go and buy a teapot for two now.
