The Dewalt DCX424A2 is a powerful 18 Volt combination tool kit for hammer drilling and screw driving applications this kit is compact and come with a Dewalt DC725 compact hammer drill, this has a 17 position adjustable torque control setting for consistent screw driving into a variety of materials with different screw sizes.
The DC725 has two speed settings, variable speed and reverse switch for controllable use and the latest ergonomically designed trigger and rubber grip. This DC725 also has 13mm single sleeve keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock for quick and easy bit change with one hand, electronic motor brake for added control and a high performance fan cooled motor for maximum power and durability.
Also in the kit is a DEWDC827 a durable 18 Volt impact driver with a high speed motor that delivers up to 150 Nm of torque an all metal gearing for efficient power transmission and long tool life, aluminium front housing that will provides greater heat dispersion this will increasing motor life. The DC827 Improved variable speed switch and electronic motor brake for complete control for both setting and removing fasteners This compact DC827 has a 6.35 mm keyless hex-drive that allows for quick and easy bit changes, also a rubber coated grip and rear of the tool to reduce surface vibration and user fatigue.
The Dewalt DC827 has an onboard LED light to improve visibility in poorly lit areas. The battery packs supplied with Dewalt DCX424A2 kit produces 18 Volts of power while providing the ultimate ergonomic solution. Compatible with all Dewalt 18 Volt battery packs.

Although not Lithium Ion these drills are so solid and dependable I wouldn't be without them. The 18volts means it rarely if ever struggles including on hammer which sounds like it really does some damage! The impact driver offers superb power-driving 4 inch screws into timber without hesitation and coupled with total trigger control it is brilliant and at this price absolutely worth the money. If like me you've only been in business a few years and have gradually updated and improved the quality of your tools do yourself a favour and buy these as you will not be disappointed.The case is as tough as expected from Dewalt and the drills are fairly chunky but the grip is well designed so not had any problems in use.
