The 2nd Book in the Red Letter Series, follows on well from Devil's Bargain.

Lucia and Jazz are two great kick ass charachters, and i would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone. If you like Kim Harrison, Kelley Armstrong and Charlaine Harris, i am sure you will love this series.

This is the second in a mini series. I had already read the first one which was so good i had to read this. Whilst it was still very good and pacy it lost a little at the end which the first one didn't but i'd still recomend reading them both. Not sure if there is a third in this series but if there was i would read that too ;-)
it did take a little while longer to arrive than most mazon products i have bought (though within the sellers guidelines) as it came from the U.S. but worth the wait!!!

In book 2, we already know the red envelopes are from the Cross Society and Eidolon. The red envelopes are dropped off with a courier and there are instructions that need to be followed through... every second counts. Lucia is a down to business kind of woman. Ben McCarthy, is out of jail and we slowly learn his involvement with Eidolon. We get small glimpse of Lucia's past. She is a kick-ass professional. Lucia seemed to be involved with deep undercover special ops, sort of like the female version of James Bond... so cool.
