After reading the first book in the series i had to buy this book and again found myself unable to put it down. Although not my normal genre if the first two books are anything to go by then i will be sticking with this series to the end.

Wow. This book carried on from where Broken Angel left off.
It continued with the same blistering pace and excitement. There is less torture, violence and fighting in this book but that doesn't detract from how good it is. This book is a true thriller and I think most people will be surprised by the twists and turns.
I love the history, the traditions and the honor which is so strongly woven through this book. It's a real gem.
I love how it continues to develop the characters of Jenner and Shiro, two of my favourites from Broken Angel. And Gabriel also features a fair bit - I'm glad to say I still love him. All of the characters from the first book in series feature and this just pulls you right back into the world that Vaughn created.

I bought the first book in the set and couldn't put it down.I then bought the full set in one go and read and read. Not my usual style of book but the author to you to each place with such ease.I imagined the setting pretty quickly and felt like i was actually there like good books are meant to..
Definately 5* from me.. You won't be able to just buy the first book................

Excellent surprise!
