5.0 out of 5 stars This is one not to miss! 15 May 2013

This is most certainly a book that I have enjoyed a couple of times.
The stories are short, and some of them you cannot help but think "WTF?" but you'll enjoy them anyway.
There's a shock factor in some of them and I at times wondered about people's sanity in real life, but
I can tell you one thing... You will not want to put it down!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! 22 April 2012

I really, really loved this! I love the concept of 100 word stories and these are just so impressive. They cover such a range of scenarios and the longer stories ensure that it is always a bit different. A zombie mad friend of mine also really enjoyed the zombie related ones! Excellent work, looking forward to more similar!

5.0 out of 5 stars bite sized chunks of nasty. 26 Dec 2011

To write a story in EXACTLY 100 words must be tricky but it has been done here brilliantly.
The one-page stories grab your attention but don't leave you frustrated, wanting more, in fact for these tales to go on any longer would spoil their impact. Most of the content deals with zombies or the recently dead. Seen for differing angles they are both darkly humorous, sick, twisted, morbid and stunningly well written. Each a little nugget of nastiness which is exactly what you want from horror.
There are other longer short stories here to from differing authors that are also imaginative and creepy from a wooden chest that never should be opened to dark fantasy where a father will defy Gods to get back his daughter.
This collection is very well written and edited constantly entertaining and highly inventive in both it's content and, with the inclusion of the flash fiction, quite refreshing. Also included is a small introduction by David McAfee.
This ebook can be finished in a couple of hours but some of the stories may linger in your head for many hours longer. For more disturbing tales try this tooThe Gate: 13 Dark & Odd Tales Thank you for reading.
