Product Description

In 1989, emergency responders received a 9-1-1 call from Maria Rossi confessing to three brutal murders. The courts found her insane, but something else found her first. Twenty years later, her daughter Isabella's search for answers leads her to an exorcism by two rogue priests, revealing that her mother is possessed by four powerful demons. Now, Isabella must face pure evil or forsake her soul. Discover why The Devil Inside is the movie critics call "evil in its purest form".

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad. Bad. Bad! 13 May 2012
By MJA81
Format:Blu-ray
This film is bad on every level. But, what lets it down the most is the acting - I do not see how anyone can find a mokumentary horror film scary when they cannot believe in the characters.

It pains me to give any horror film only one star, but this film gives the genre absolutely nothing. The storyline is tired considering other exorcist films and the disturbing atmosphere often achieved through mockumentaries is non-existent.

This film makes The Rite look like The Exorcist!

1.0 out of 5 stars Great trailer! 2 Jun 2012
Format:DVD
Damn it! I hate it when this happens. I was lured into this by the trailer and sat expecting a white knuckle ride. The only ride I got was the bus home; and at 10.45pm from the City, it was more frightening than what Id just watched. Save your money! Totally disjointed, bumbling and utterly boring. Even the actors looked as bored as I felt.

1.0 out of 5 stars The only good thing is the trailer 12 July 2012
Format:DVD
Horror = 0.
Like others have mentioned, the acting is pretty terrible and honestly this movie is just not scary. It's a shame because the story had potential, but like so many other new horror movies, this is just too poor.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish... 3 July 2012
Format:DVD
I had to give this a star or it wouldn't go up as a review, but honestly - don't bother! I've tried three times to get something from this, and each time it just gets worse. Tedious, incomprehensible and only worth binning!

1.0 out of 5 stars The trailer made it look good.... 27 May 2012
Format:DVD
I went to see this film in the first week it came out, to get maximum jumps with a room full of screaming people. As someone who found paranormal Activity and Insidious scary (the idea of something huge and invisible being in your house is a horrible thought!) this was a total let down, it had some scary moments but the build up didn't ever get there, to top it off the things they had her saying were just hilarious, the whole room was laughing instead of screaming when she's writhing round the table being possessed and that and she's shouting all this funny stuff- it wrecked the atmosphere.
Honestly the biggest jump this film gave me was when a dog jumped at the wall when the characters were walking past. It was interesting that they pulled religion and the Vatican into it, but it wasn't enough and the story just didn't get anywhere.
The ending could have had another scene of exorcism where they really pulled out the stops but they chose not to, the ending is actually one of the worst I've ever seen, it's like 'Oh. That's the end?'

1.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing 15 July 2012
By Shell
Format:DVD
I was looking forward to this DVD because I thought it would be a similar style to Exorcism of Emily Rose which is still one of my favourite films. Unfortunately it was a borefest, these docu style films are old news now and don't really have any impact anymore cos we know everyones an actor. The story just didn't work for me and it frustrated me because it could have been brilliant. I was just left at the end thinking, "Is that it?"

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst part is I watched it at the cinema! 13 May 2013
Format:DVD
I thought it was the decent thing to do to warn people and horror fans against this movie. I usually steer away from possession movies as it is. It is the same tried and tested formula or scenes in every one of them.

This happens to be possibly the worst one I've seen. The scariest part of it for me is when a dog barks. It was the only time in the cinema anyone screamed or showed any sort of reaction.

The action was mediocre, it was filmed in the done to death style of hand held camera and the ending was ambiguous and I knew it was coming. As with all these films it seems impossible to end them with a decent conclusion.

I'm usually pretty tolerant to most horror films, the low budget and high budget ones, but I struggled to find any plus points to this film. Maybe the pretty scenery in some of it?
