So coming from Disturbed David must of had so many bottled up ideas as to what he could use to a different music project well his chance has arrived with Disturbed going on hiatus he definitely shown his creative side with this project, alot of electronics and some huge guest appearances make for one heavy weight album this debut shows great potential for growth and expansion into a series of albums full of hits I look forward to seeing what future holds for this band.

Format:Audio CD
David's voice is too fine a voice to be merely caged into a single musical formula. Something different is good and let's be honest, it is not that different as some reviewers hint at. It is not like he is singing opera or something like that. It is fresh. Playing with some interesting new ideas. Device is almost like one of those superband projects, with a fantastic range of guest artists - other brilliant singers from the world of metal and hard rock! Not many reviewers pay tribute to the closing track of the CD, but to me that is the stand-out track. Glenn Hughes is a legendary hard rock singer and I never would have thought the pair of them could pull off a duet, but it works like a dream. Both starting softly, their voices almost frail (in particular Glenn's), and then building up. I have had it on repeat for the last hour :-) Also, let's mention David's partner in crime: Geno Lenardo. At times there are the unmistakable Filter sounds. A band that very much liked to play around with different formats within the metal genre. Together, David and Geno have managed to produce a brilliant CD - much recommended!

I don't know what jazz David Lynch type music the reviewers below are harking on about but they've chosen completely the wrong album to write about. This is David Draiman of Disturbed new solo album and it's great. Don't expect Disturbed v 2.0, this will be different from what people may be expecting from Draiman. It still has his signature vocals but also some new styles and the rest of the band do a good job but this is quite industrial and as such can get a bit noisy with sounds as the genre naturally does. You Think You Know and Vilify are cracking tunes and my immediate favourites.

Excellent!
Love it - raw edge but typical Draiman. The guests bring in an extra dimension and each one is unique in their own way adding either vocally or musically to the band.
