This book gives a thorough tour of the various forms of psychic development - including clairvoyance, auric sight, clairaudience, clairsentience, telepathy, hands-on healing and channelling - and offers advice on spirit guides and helpers. He gives exercises, techniques and affirmations to awaken your innate psychic abilities and inner wisdom, as well as pointing out some pitfalls to avoid. If that sounds good, then buy this book because you will not regret it and that is a promise!! Good luck :))

You are taken on a step-by-step journey into exploring your sixth sense. Good for the beginner. Confirms what many of us already know - that we have got psychic abilities. With continuous practice you can get there. Does what it says on the cover.

This book adopts the attitude from the outset that if we observe something that can be construed as psychic ability, then we need not examine other more rational explanations too closely. This smacks of lazy thinking; is it that reason and science are not as much fun... that we don't get to feel so special about ourselves? The book constantly reinforces this natural desire to feel special about ourselves, which is commendable, but stops short of telling us when the news is disappointing i.e. sometimes it really is just wishful thinking. The issue of gullibility is hardly touched upon, but we're (mis)led to believe it means the same as open-mindedness. Had these distinctions been made, it would have lent so much more credibility to the book's discussion of intuition, which is something many people feel they have experienced and is worthy of a good physcological discussion. Instead it's lumped in with the supernaturally contentious , and is diminished by it. There's a clever continuum hinted at between genuine, awe-inspiring psychological phenomena and "psychic" ability in as much as no distinction is made when introducing one after the other, in the same way an inexperienced person might confuse astrology with astronomy. This is especially apparent in the chapters on healing and clairvoyance. The book's encouragement of intuition and belief might be seen as admirable, but to portray such things as an extension of sense or knowledge is not. Two stars, though, because it's reasonably articulate, and for those who are already convinced of the subject matter, then it's probably an entertaining indulgence of this hobby.
