Got this at Xmas, and surprised there hasn't been any customer reviews as of yet. I feel this is mainly down to the bad press of the dire X360 release of the same name which maybe putting people off purchasing it. While no nowhere near as glitchy or broken as the X360 release, it's not perfect and has some bizarre audio and texture issues.

These issues don't really make the game unplayable, but as somebody who played the original 'Human Revolution' several times, these problems are hard to ignore.

I haven't tried the PSVita connectivity, so I cannot comment on it's functionality.

Audio of certain weapons, like the machine pistol, sounding "tinny" and not as vibrant or punchy as what it did in the original release. Strange radio chatter noises and intermittent flashing radio icons when the director commentary kicks in, this happens even when you have the commentary turned off. The chatter/clicking noises and random flashing radio icons can become a constant irritation as it can happen unexpectedly throughout key points of the game. Voice dialogue and ambient sound effects, also seems overly compressed and of low quality. These problems are fairly randomized, e.g: NPC talking to you at one point only to start a new sentence to sound very subdued and of low quality. Which comes as a disappointment when the rest of audio sounds fantastic, rich and atmospheric.

Texture's on floors, roof tiles and the distant building's in city hubs seem to be enlarged, stretched or zoomed in. This makes textures seem of a lower quality compared to other parts of the game. E.g: You'll come across "blocky" textures on apartment floor, while the wall texture beside it looks detailed and crisp.

I love this game more than everything in my collection, minus Arkham City... It's a must have, choice driven (even when you don't know it - *hint hint Namir*) story, that I absolutely love.. I didn't even know when it was Missing Link until they said it in the comentary... So, it's amazing, in a word

An absolute must buy.
This game has so many elements to it I felt I had to try it out and I was not disappointed.

I'm not a massive fan of FPS games, especially on console, but between the sneaking, action and RPG-type choices it thoroughly kept me entertained, even more so with the extra content that the directors cut has to offer, which has been seemingly integrated with the original story.

While I don't like to play games over and over again, I felt that Deus Ex had a lot of replayability to it, with the amount of choices there are to make I felt like I'd have to play it at least 2 more times to get the full feel of what can really help or hinder you with what choices you've made in your game, and while there are choices that may not make a big difference there are others in which you'll think 'what if I did/said this instead?'

Again, a definite must buy, even if you aren't an avid first person shooter fan like myself, you'll definitely enjoy what this has to offer.

I originally had the normal edition on Xbox 360, but when I learnt that there was a Directors Cut which had everything from all DLC included, improved gameplay and mechanics, for a very good price, I bought mine for £5.99.

It is literally one of the best games I have every played, and I highly recommend you to play this if you like Single player, RPG, stealth, explore, pickup collectible type games. As much as I highly recommend this game, there are a few issues. I have not added everything on here of what I think is good or bad, but it should give you a good idea.

Pros:
1: You get all of the DLC from the original game which you would have needed to buy, but with the Director's cut, you don't. This includes:
The Missing Link: Merged into the game, unlike the original. Show's what happens to Jensen after the harbor mission and before the Singapore mission.
Tactical Enhancement Pack: 3 new weapons including the Huntsman Silverback Double-Barreled Shotgun, Longsword Whisperhead Sniper Rifle (Silenced), and C4 detonation packs, along with a new item which was originally included in pre-order packs for the original, the Automatic Unlocking Device, which all of these can be found as you go through the game.
Tongs Rescue Bonus Mission: You are given a bonus mission by Tong to save his son before you are able to move on to the harbor mission.
2: Improved Boss fights and gameplay: Boss fights were pretty boring and not much happened in the original, but in the director's cut, there are more rooms and more ways on how to defeat the bosses you find. Also gameplay has been improved throughout the game.
3: Live commentary: During gameplay, you can listen to the game developers talking about certain aspects of the game whilst you play.

Great game that's improved alot in this edition, the Vita functionality isn't explained very well but it is a cool idea that the PS3 should have promoted more to compete with the WiiU.

If your a Deus Ex fan then this is a nice addition to the trilogy, although the first one was incredible and cant be matched!
