5.0 out of 5 stars Another classic game from DAH! 13 Jun 2008
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Stats:
Fun: 10/10 > destroying humans is much more fun on Wii!
Graphics: 8/10 > amazing for Wii games and cut scenes are great.
Missions: 9/10 > great, interesting and much more boom boom!
Characters: 10/10 > Crypto and Pox are great and the new ones are just as good.
Weapons: 10/10 > much improved (even the originals) and great new ones like Big Willy and Zombie Gun.
Difficulty: 10/10 > Just right for a Wii game.
Soundtrack: 9/10 > Fun seventies music.
Humour: 10/10 > Hilarious.
Average rating: 9.5
The story line is that Pox has started up a new restaurant business and it is your job to protect the restaurants and destroy the competition. Also more things happen in the storyline that distract them from the main plot but I won't go into that because it will spoil it for you. It's very, very addictive!
It is almost worth buying a Wii just to get this game. The best Destroy all Humans game so far. Now instead of turning your saucer invisible you can disguise it as a Big Willy blimp, Colonel Kluckin' blimp and many more with cheats. The new weapons are great and much improved on the last game's. It really is just plain fun. You may have heard that the voices for Pox and Crypto have been changed - it doesn't sound any different to me. I don't notice it at all, they did such a good imitation and the humour is the same so I don't mind. It certainly is a very entertaining game and although it only has 23 missions, I could play them time and time again! The faces on the passers by look like real people now.
The locations are more like the first DAH! game - more farmers, towns and shipping ports. Raising a zombie army with the zombie gun, shrinking humans and cars, probing unsuspecting earthlings, eating humans with Big Willy are just some of the great things you can do.
Big Willy. Whoa, now there's a fine piece of Furon weaponry! Run around in a huge toddler firing with laser eyes and eating, vomiting or stamping on humans. Great, great fun.
The Ultimatum
Magic. Amazing. Terrific! The best Wii game out. The controls are easy to use and not as hard as you would expect them to be! Just a great, great game. For cheats visit http://uk.gamespot.com/wii/action/destroyallhumansbigwilly/hints.html?tag=tabs;cheats - it really is the best website for them. I hope you like my review and buy the game!

4.0 out of 5 stars Highly Underated... 17 Mar 2011
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I reckon this game is highly underated. Although it was not made by 'Pandemic' it is still a very good game. Especially the weapons and story-line ideas and concepts. So it doesn't have award-winning gaphics, who cares about graphics? As long as it is an overall good game it does not matter about set-out and realism...so overall it is not the best game ever but it is still very, very entertaining.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun for a while 27 July 2009
The original Destroy All Humans games were inspired and tremendous fun. Their appeal was the chance to play the alien against the human race using a variety of dangerous weaponry. They were crude, rude and very silly (in a good way).

This Wii game is more of the same really only this time you're playing in the 1970's (following on from the 50's and 60's scenarios of the previous games). The missions take place over four different locations and each includes a number of side missions that add variety to the game.

As before, you get to use a range of weapons which can be upgraded by achieving various tasks. The UFO features in a number of missions and again, you can upgrade the weapons. The new addition to this game is "Willy" himself which is basically a giant fast-food mascot that resembles a toddler. This machine can be used as another vehicle and like the UFO features a number of upgradable weaponry.

The missions are fairly easy for the most part and there were only a few that I had to try more than once. In fact the final battle was over in moments; quite a contrast to the infuriatingly difficult endings to the previous games.

The maps are surprisingly small (about half the size of the previous games) and the attention to detail is less than before too. The graphics are passable but slightly clunky on occasion and the controls are quite awkward until you get used to them.

It's not all bad. The story and jokes are funny, the voice acting is good and the music is well made. The game didn't take long to complete but it was certainly fun while it lasted. It's not a bad game at all; it just needed a bit more work as it pales in comparison to its predecessors and seems unfinished. I only paid £10 for it and so I felt like I'd got my money's worth.
