Book Description

Caitlin Seavey relives the same nightmare every night for three years. Then one day, the dream seeps into reality when an ethereal Scotsman visits. Horrified, she confides in her grandmother who then gives her a two hundred year old novel titled Fate's Monolith. It tells the tale of her distant relative's journey to medieval Scotland and can only be a myth. When Caitlin discovers a family heirloom in the attic she soon learns the book is based on truth.

Chieftain Ferchar MacLomain found what he was looking for. Caitlin. He should have left her alone. For to bring her to Cowal will spell disaster-a foreseen threat to himself, his clan, and Caitlin. As a visionary, it's his obligation to protect her. As a man, he's determined to ignore his heart. Can he thwart his destiny? Or will he forever be a slave to the gods of old.

This novel contains strong sexual content and is recommended for a mature audience.

"If you like romance AND time travel you will love this book!... The sexual tension snaps and vibrates through the entire story. Caitlin manipulates her 21st century womanhood in such a way that at one time she has three Scottish chieftains after her! I loved the language, I loved the men, I loved the descriptions of a Scotland that I have never seen...Did I mention I read this story twice?" ~LASR

The King's Druidess is the lead-in tale to The MacLomain Series. While The King's Druidess is a short Celtic story, Fate's Monolith (The MacLomain Series- Book 1), Destiny's Denial (The MacLomain Series- Book 2) and Sylvan Mist (The MacLomain Series- Book 3) are full length novels. In memory of Sky's beloved father, marketing manager and best friend, all will continue to remain at a reasonable price. He would have expected nothing less.

"There is so much packed into Destiny's Denial the story is gripping. I couldn't put it down until I finished the last page but don't take my word for it, you really need to read these books. If you have the slightest interest in time travel, Scotland or magic you will be pulled into this story hook, line and sinker."

 ~Simply Romance Reviews

"Beautifully put together, the images that Sky Purington leaves you with will have you wishing that you were of the Broun clan and that your own MacLomain would pull you back through time to be with him yourself. Take some time during this hot summer to cool down in beautiful Scotland and see just what will have you wishing you could find such a destiny of your own."

Dianna ~NOR

Please NOTE: This is a re-launch of titles published years ago. The stories have been revised and tightened. And as aforementioned, the sensual heat level for all four has been turned way up.

I have to say that after having read over 100 time-travels, this author is the absolute best in the genre! "I here dub thee The Queen of Time-Travel!" If you're lucky enough to pick up this book, you'll love all the fantasy elements, the romance and the mind blowing time-travel! As my kids says, I love this book INFINITY!

3.0 out of 5 stars frustrated 14 Nov. 2011
By momma mia - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
really liked the first book, but i am only 10% through this one and i am getting more and more frustrated as i, story line is riding a long (even if it's a little bumpy) issue is that there have been 14 pages out of the 10% that i move my kindle to the next screen and the rest of the sentence is missing
example: location 696 of 7036, last line: amanda was leaning against the wall of the
next page..."so what are you doing....."
um, huh??? leaning against the wall and WHAT????

i overlooked the few times the missing sentences/words happened in the first book, but this is getting ridiculous - i certainly hope it does not continue this way!!!!!

as of right now i am giving 3 stars because i HAVE to rate it in order to post my review and i REALLY want to like this one as much as the first...not sure what my final rate will be...

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first but still left questions (again) 6 Mar. 2010
By Regan - Published on
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I reviewed the first book (Fate's Monolith) and while I loved the story, I felt the author made some major missteps. This second one is better (although the lovemaking scenes still leave much to be desired), but the story still had some disconnects for me, some not believable parts, and left unanswered what happened to Hugh? And, why did it take Ferchar 4 months to return to her? And why did Marie tell her they couldn't be together and then they are? Perhaps these questions will be answered in the third book but I prefer a trilogy where each story stands on its own.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another strong MacLomain man 10 July 2012
By BCP - Published on
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This second book in the series was a very enjoyable read.

The h(Caitlin) has the second ring and is in for a bit of time travel where she will meet her MacLomain hero.

The characters in the story are well described and as in book #1, I had no trouble getting a 'feel' for them.
The story held my attention all the way through.

I am now ready to see who has the third ring in book #3.
