Format:Audio CD
I was very pleased to finally get hold of this rare Chaka classic. Like most of her albums it's rather a mixed bag althogh I liked all the tracks from the funky 'My destiny' to the saucy 'Tight fit'. The real standouts for me were the glorious 'Earth to Mickey' and the jazzy finale 'Coltrane dreams'.

This album came out in 1986 on Warners/WEA records. Due to lack of promotion, it did not fare that well in the mainstream charts but it was popular in the soul and club charts. The single "Love of a Lifetime" was a pop hit here in the UK and is an upbeat piece of modern funk. Standout tracks include the jazzy "Coltrane Dreams" and the almost rock like "Watching the World" which features the talents of Phil Collins on backing vocals and drums. "Earth to Mickey" is another excellent track.
