Book Description

‘It’s simple. No sight. No questions. 48 hours.’

An intensely charged erotic journey, perfect for anyone who was seduced by 50 Shades of Grey.

When 37-year-old psychologist, Alexandra Blake, leaves her comfortable suburban existence to give a series of lectures , she meets up with Dr Jeremy Quinn, the man who opened her eyes and body to the world in ways she never thought possible.
After a few glasses of champagne in his luxurious hotel penthouse, he presents her with an extraordinary proposition. Alexandra knows that they never promise each other something they can’t commit to and that he will challenge her every inhibition.
But she soon finds herself seduced into a level of surrender – and danger – she could never have imagined.

Destined to Play is the first book in the Avalon trilogy exploring the intricate relationships between trust and betrayal, desire and love, risk … and reward. If you liked 50 Shades of Grey, you will love Destined to Play.

2.0 out of 5 stars was disappointed 1 Sept. 2012
..... Suprisingly so !! I have all of the FSoG books, and this book is nothing like them !! I found the story ok but it just went on about things that didnt interest me... like psychology and research etc... half way through the book, i felt uncomfortable reading it, as i couldnt help but feel that she was being abused !!!
The most gripping part for me was the last 2 pages... although this was not for me, it may take the interest more of someone that is not looking for the romantic side of things.
Obviously im not a critic and this is just my own oppinion.... but the book states on the reverse ... If u like 50 Shades of Grey, u will love Destined to play... not a chance !!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't even get a look in 19 Feb. 2013

Disappointed. To say these two characters were lovers in their early years and by the sound of it could have been in love it doesn't sit well with me that they would part company and go their separate ways only to meet up now and again. I know if you love someone you would compromise. Why wait all those years and then suddenly decide to have 48 hours of 'play'. Not that you saw any 'play' and I can't say I've got the urge to buy the next instalment.
