I had this dvd for christmas and was really looking forward to watching it. Don't be fooled by the title, because the film doesn't have anything to do with desperate housewives. The story is long and extremly boring. It didn't make any sense to me. I was really sad about this, because I love desperate housewives and this film is just annoying and confusing.
I wouldn't recommend annyone buying it.

This has nothing to do with desperate housewives. I am actually suprised the name isn't in breach of UK advertising law. Anyway it appears to be a UK DVD release of "Always say goodbye". This film has one of the actors who also plays in Desperate Housewives, but it is a pretty bad film and has nothing to do with the Desperate Housewives TV series.

This has nothing to do with desperate housewives and is nothing like desperate housewives. The only similarity in the actress who's name isn't even Bree. I love desperate housewives but i had to turn this off before it even ended. It is very slow and mundane and the plot doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I have no idea why they decided to call it what they did.

This had nothing to do with desperate housewives at all, its got marcia cross in it but not as her d/h wives character. I was so disappointed with this dvd i thought it was going to be really good and was dissatisfied completely with my buy. Its misleding and the only reason people buy it is because you think its going to be about brie vandicamp before she moved to wisteria lane but its a completely different story altogether like i said before. I wouldnt reccomment anybody to waste their money on this dvd as its a big fat let down. Rant over. Thanks xxxx

I've bought it together with the seasons 1-4, thought it would be a prequel. It occurred to be "something"... Actually it's hard to watch more then 10 minutes. Now I know why it was that cheap.

If you like desperate housewife DO NOT BUY THIS DVD. It has nothing to do with the series. It's just a cheap movie that the only way to sell it's with the publicity of the fantastic series. spend your money somewhere else...
I would give 0 stars if I could.

I am absolutely appalled by this DVD. What a sickening marketing ploy this is - which must be borderline illegal. It is clearly and shamelessly intended to deceive desperate housewives fans into buying it, thinking it is about the younger days of the housewives (or at least Bree.) This would actually be a very good idea, but do NOT be duped into thinking this DVD is it.

The makers have shot themselves in the foot because this may or may not be a good film in its own right, depending on your opinion. But all it does is make people extremely angry. It should stand or fall on its own merits. If it really wanted to use DH, it could have said 'starring Marcia Cross from Desperate Housewives' but that's it.

A very angry customer.

This film has absolutely no connection the the TV series apart from the actress Marcia Cross who looks like a young Nicole Kidman. The films title is completely misleading. Some of the scenes are positively cringe-worthy and the dubbing is, at times, way out of sync. The story revolves around Ann, a failed artist who is now a fashion designer, and Nick an aspiring photographer who is on the verge of giving up on his dreams. The story just plods along and it is hard to feel much interest in any of the characters.
I have just donated my copy of this DVD to the local charity shop. A good buy if you are suffering from insomnia.
