Yes, that is what this book is about- fire and desire! I have been waiting for Corinthians and Trevor's story since being introduced to them in Whispered Promises. Was it worth waiting for? YES! This latest Brenda Jackson novel brings together two people many have been asking about for a long time. Where do these two finally get together? In a setting that epitomizes their romance (steamy and hot), the jungles of Brazil, this book sizzles! The only sad thing about this book is that it ended. I also enjoy the family updates on my old friends -- Dex and Caitlin and Clayton and Syneda, Lorren and Justin. I couldn't put it down! It also introduces many new characters who I know I would like to know even better, Drake Warren, Netherland Brooms and the especially scrumptious Ashton Sinclair. Everyone may love a Lindsey, but I enJoy a Jackson!! This is definitely on my "read more than once" list!!

I've read this book at least twice and the more I read it the hotter it get's. Once again Brenda Jackson has outdone herself. I thought that was brilliant how they danced to the three CD's the third one ending with Rick James and Tina Marie I thought I would surely past out at that point. The other Madaris Brothers story was something but Trevor and Corinthians story takes the case there loyality, love and passion they shared for one another . Starting with there adventure in the jungles of Brazil back in the States were the adventure continued. I also like how Brenda Jackson gives and update on all of the Madaris Brothers in her previous books. Hollywood or whoever is responsable for making films has to be blind not to put this peace of work on film.

I having been waiting for this book every since One Special Moment came out last year. Brenda Jackson is one of the best romance writers that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The story between Trevor and Corinthians is an absolute page-turner. I loved this book, I could read it ten hundred times and never be tired of it. After waiting a year for this book I can honestly say I would wait for it again. I'm awaiting her next book this fall.

There are few romance writers that I think get better with every book, but Brenda Jackson is most definitely one of them. Fire and Desire more than fulfilled my expectations. The premise for this stormy, passionate love affair was set up in Whispered Promises, and I eagerly waited for Corinthians' and Trevor's story.
There aren't any two people more right for each other. Even in their disagreements you can see the passion and deep love that these two very special people share. For those who lamented the end of the Madaris trilogy, run, do not walk, and pick up this book! From the breathtaking action to the warm, memorable characters, you will be thoroughly entertained. Ms. Jackson is a first-class romance novelist.

This guy in the book name Trevor according to the way the writter describes is just fine. This book has what I would call a good description of love, trust, partnership all wraped up into one. Corantians is a woman who is so caught up in her work w/o any time to really get involved. Trevor is a man with a broken heart because of problems in his family. I don't think I can give a really review of this story in 1,000 words or w/o spoling the best stuff. So just take my word and buy the book.

I had lamented the fact that there were no more Madaris men for Brenda Jackson to write about but family friend Trevor Grant is the next best thing. Trevor believes that after two years Corinthians (yes, as in the bible)is still carrying a torch for Dex Madaris, the man she had intended to seduce unaware that Trevor had taken his place in the hotel suite. The beautiful curvaceous Ms. Avery has been an indelible memory every since that time. But how is he going to get next to her? Corinthians can't stand Trevor, or so she tries to tell herself. That night she made a fool of herself and she is still humiliated by the whole experience, so... whenever she is in Trevor's company, she keeps the subject on geology and oil, strictly business. Then in the jungles of Brazil things get hot hot hot in more ways than one. Ms. Jackson has written another gem.

There is no way to improve on perfection, but Brenda has done it once again. I have read all Ms. Jackson's books and I loved each one of her stories, but this one ... oh this one put shivers on my skin. After Justin, Dex, Clayton and Sterling I didn't think there was any more room for anyone else. Boy was I wrong. Trevor, Trevor, Trevor ... is definitely the man. He appealed to the reader on so many levels. The scenes in this book were comical, serious and sensually romantic. This title, "Fire and Desire" "truly" stood up to its name. Ms. Jackson, take a bow and keep up the good work. Believe me, your novels are well worth the wait.

Fantastic book. Ms Jackson shines. I wish she could be consistent in the quality of her books. This particular book, "Whispered Promises" (also in the Madaris family series)and a few of her books in the Westmoreland family series are really wonderful.

Anyway, back to the book. This book is about Trevor Grant (an ex-military man) and Corinthians Avery (a geologist). They first met in "Whispered Promises", and their story continues. A nice love story, very sensual and the secondary characters being their friends and parents make it an interesting and compelling read. You won't be disappointed.
