Product Description

Review
"This book is very well written...I think that the new, more advanced material will increase its usefulness to students at a later level in their undergraduate studies...In fact, it is brimming with good advice." - David Clark-Carter, Staffordshire University "It is friendly, accessible and a text which students can turn to when they are in trouble late at night...students should find this text a trusty and reliable friend which will stand by them as they labour through their reports." - Hugh Coolican, Coventry University

Product Description
There has been a huge increase in the number of students studying psychology in schools and at degree level. Virtually all degree and A level students are required to write practical reports for their psychology courses. The second edition of this popular text offers expanded advice and updated guidelines to students on how to go about doing this. It is intended to be useful to students at all levels. It provides a basic introduction to designing and writing reports of experimental and other studies in psychology and is thus useful for beginners. At the same time, it covers issues of design and reporting of use to students working on projects in the final year of degree courses. It is like a thesaurus or dictionary - in frequent use as the need arises. The first edition was widely adopted as a core course text.

5.0 out of 5 stars Designing and Reporting Experiments in Psychology, 3 Mar 2004
By A Customer
This book is excellent. It really helped me to write a Psychology level 2 asignment, which I gained a brilliant mark for. Very useful for people who have trouble with quantitative reports and find them very boring. Also very useful in helping to understand statistical outcomes from SPSS. The book goes over everything from Level 1 and I'm sure will help me in my dissertation!

5.0 out of 5 stars clear and concise, 26 Feb 2001
By rit "rit" (england) - See all my reviews
This book offers a clear and concise guide to anyone who needs to put across an experiment. As a psychology student I found it an essential guide to let me know what to focus on and what not to agonise over! A top buy.
