This has to be the biggest con ever from Cisco Press a total Rip-Off there are around 3 pages devoted to 802.11n technology and even that isn't covered in any detail no in depth articles on the technology at all, most of the content you can get from reading the Excellent O-Reilly book 802.11 networking or CWTS or CWNA books which in fact cover the content of this book in far better detail.

From the initial review on the Amazon description you would think you were purchasing a detailed book on implementing an 802.11 N solution be very aware you are NOT, this book covers basic WLAN implementation using known old technologies 802.11 a/b/g with a few pages on 802.11n thrown in for good measure.

I hope this is not part of the CCIE Corriculum level Extremeley Poor.

Althought this book is not part of the Cisco CCIE Wireless reading list I think it ought to be. I spotted two typing errors. There was a d symbol missing from the Free Space calculation on P49 but the example makes the error obvious. The second error was a reference to IPS SDM on P115 in the chapter topics but the topic does not exist. The book is well written by Jim Geier and I would recommend it to anybody interested in the descriptive title.
