Been looking at buying one of these for a while, and finally took the plunge, and have to say I'm very pleased I did. I was a bit dubious given the lack of reviews, but the price really drew me in. Firstly the oven came quickly in brown box packing which was I thought a little disappointing, but apparently that's for protection only and once opened, inside was a colour giftbox and product inside.
I was surprised to find the oven came with many accessories including an oven glove which wasn't mentioned in the product description, a welcome bonus! The starter guide was useful and I have now completed three of the recipes with some success my husband tells me. Getting used to the timings is the thing to master, there is no pre-heating time, as soon as the oven is switched on, its hot. You must ensure oven is kept away from small fingers as the glass bowl does get hot and needs gloves to touch. I plan on really putting the oven through its paces this weekend with a roast chicken in 60 minutes!
All in all, a good purchase delivered within 3 days, and unlike my ice cream maker, quesadilla maker, and popcorn maker, this will be proudly sat on my worktop and not confined to the back of a cupboard!

An amazing value for money purchase, yes i do agree that the instructional booklet is a bit hit or miss but you can browse the net and find everything you need. I found all of the tried and tested cooking times on various web pages and downloadable instructions if required. We cooked our Sunday roast and it was fantastic, no oven oil smell from the roast potatoes, the Beef was cooked to perfection and the self cleaning feature was simply brilliant. We are very happy about the fact that you can choose a very healthy eating option as you don't need to use oil to cook your homemade roast potatoes which came out very crispy and browned to perfection. This is still early days but i think that we have found perfect oven for our family. I will add though we would never have thought about buying one of these as we thought it was another clutter the cupboard appliance but this has really proven us wrong. Would recommend this to everyone.

i haven't used a halogen oven cooker before , but saw this one advertised from Habitat , such a good price , complete with added items for use, you mostly have to pay extra for those . my oven arrived in three days . very pleased with the quick delivery.Have cooked quite a few things in it and am delighted with it , The cook book is just a starter book with just a little information ,would have liked more .. Am using my oven as i would my normal oven for timing etc . i would say using it is just common sense , thats how i look at it ,, am becoming so used to it would not like to be with out it , love the way you can see food cooking , plus the bright light ,lightens up my kitchen love that too The only negative is steaming i wasn't successful for me ... but then i never used my normal oven for steaming so why should the halogen oven ..so just revert to my usual steamer if i ever want to steam anything....i would thoroughly recommend this product to any one
