Quick Start Guide:
1. Unbox the contents of the box; you should have a quick guide, the Designer Habitat Nano 3.0 HD media player, an AC adaptor, a remote, and an AV composite cable
2. If you are using a HDMI cable (not included) plug it from your TV into the back of the media player, or use the AV composite cable (included, then connect the coloured wires to the your TV.
3. Next plug in the AC adaptor into the mains and plug the end into the media player. You should see the LED light up blue when on.
4. Find the correct AV channel on your TV remote for the media player output (AV for Composite, HDMI c for HDMI), and select the HDMI or AV button on the media player remote control depending
5. The menu should appear once the correct AV channel is found, meaning your Designer Habitat Nano 3.0 HD Media Player is properly connected, now plug in a USB device or memory card with your media content and choose any file from this device to enjoy in HD 1080p on your TV!

I bought this box. Easy to set up using your HDMI cable and usb stick however it is very basic and needs an update on the software and it is kids stuff!
It plays most files, and avi's also which is the reason for my purchase. After using for about a month I have noticed it switches itself off randomly and sometimes goes back to the start of the film which isn't good if you have spent nearly an hour watching something. Also now it keeps cutting out and going to the next film, this has happened with the last 4 films I have watched, gets to 20 mintues before the ending and stops! This is annoying as hell! I have tested all these films on my laptop and they all play right to the end so it definitely is this box.
My final thought on this box is that the idea is good but the product doesn't quite deliver 60% of the time.
And as for the shipping of £9.99 where do they get this price from as the box isn't big and doesn't weigh much!!????

Great little box - so far I have only tried it with avi files on an SD card but works well with these and gives true 1080p resolution and good sound. Remote is small but functional once you get used to it.
If you have an LG TV You may have to switch on your TV first then the player then select the input channel on your TV (HDMI, AV etc )in that order. I does get a bit warm during operation but this is probably due to its small size. At the price definately recommended.

After trying several Media Players that are advertised that they play MOV files I was a bit dubious about this one. I was most surprised at how compact the unit is and what it can do this plays my HDMI MOV files and my external hard from my computer.
What a great price as well the only other player I had found to do the job was nearly £100.
