Product Description

This Contemporary Deluxe Chrome Single Handle Kitchen Pull Out Spray Tap will be a stylish addition to your home, with its modern contemporary styling and quality chrome finish it will give your kitchen a touch of elegance. Paired with its smooth ceramic disc turning mechanism it is both easy to use and a pleasure to the eyes.

Compared to traditional single taps this features two swivel spouts. One which can be used as an ordinary tap to fill up your sink, pots, pans and kettles and the other features a powerful spray hose like nozzle to wash away the grease and oil left on pans, baking trays and dishes. The spray/hose tap has a flexible spring neck making it easier to wash dishes at all angles. It also features a safety handle which will lock the spring neck in place when not needed to prevent it from getting in the way.

Due to the tap's durable ceramic cartridges, it can be opened and closed 500,000 times without leakage, making it a long lasting feature to your home. Also featuring a 360 swivel spout it is both a practical and convenient addition to your kitchen.

The tap is easy to clean and install and comes with a one year warranty.

Comes packaged with 2 x 15mm diameter x 400mm length flexible connection hose and a protected packed box.

Please see image 2 for full technical specification and dimensions.

This tap is designed to fit all standard kitchen sinks, the diameter of the threaded bar which goes through the hole in the sink is 33mm and the standard hole size is 35mm.

We would recommend for this tap to be installed by an experienced plumber.

Great looking tap. arrived right on time. On fitting however the sink will require a back plate to strengthen the sink and stop the weight/height of the tap flexing the sink. Not a surprise-I was expecting that.
The main problem is If you have the traditional gravity fed hot water system and mains cold water supply to the sink you will need to fit a back flow preventer to the hot water supply. When the tap is on divert to the spray -and before you turn on the spray- if the temperature control is midway between the hot/cold the cold pressure forces cold water back along the hot water pipes (due to the imbalance of the pressures). You can hear it running back up the hot pipes and would cause a problem if left to run. It stops when you open the spray, but this is in contravention of our water laws I think. I think this is an import and should only be used with a presurised/balanced system but there is no information on here to inform about that. My water presures are within the tolerance stated.
Another issue is the tap mixes in the tap base and you have to run the cold to allow the mixed water to empty from the bloc before filling the kettle-the water tastes metallic if you dont.
I think I will have to purchase a booster for the hot water to better balance the hot/cold presures which rather explains the price.

As others, I also have researched around scores of sites and many shops to get the best kitchen tap with thrifty mind. This tap fits my bill and ticks all the boxes for me. The height surprised me, but it is well with in proportion to my newly fitted kitchen and stone worktop. As it has just been installed I do not know the implications on it's wear and tear, ie how is its chrome coating. At the mo it seems pretty good, comparable to the taps in £200.00 - £300.00 price range. Compared to these big 'boys' this tap is a snip at fifty quids. Well impressed with it. Full recommendations, if u considering to purchase this sort of twin sprout tap with spray nozzle. I have it got installed on 1.5bowl deep sink. The only down side seems to be little fiddly connections, but any plumber can able to handle it. It could be done DIY with care and attention, coz it's fairly heavy 'boy', might need some help to hold it in place. All in all fairly satisfied customer. This has added novelty value to my kitchen and enjoying variety of facial expressions on my guests... let alone the verbal comments. (One Guest described it as a 'vulgar'... but I took it in a nice sense) My wife and me enjoy using it... and that's more than Value For Money for you.

the product is great if you have a dbl sink - To fit it is not easy - the two tap end connector can on be tie up with fingers , no tool can go down the shaft of the tap - so mine started linking after 2 weeks in , did the fir again and 2 weeks into it so far so good - if the shaft wasn't that long ( like other taps ) it would be brilliant but I guess the lenth is needed because of the lenght of the tap

Arrived well in time was absolutely HUGE!!! Looks great on ceramic 1.5 bowl with granite worktop. Easy to install, worth mentioning that the big brass screw fitting which encumbers connecting the taps is removable, just unscrew to make it a real easy install. You will require someone to hold tap in place as you screw in though!

The tap arrived well packaged and on time. It is infact a monster of a thing and larger than I anticipated although that's my fault as the dimensions are there to be seen when purchased. What was not evident is the size of the brass ferrule that goes through the sink at 30mm. It is large and would need securing well and if It would have fitted through the opening in my ceramic sink I would have kept it, unfortunately it wouldn't so I had to send it back. The return service was good and I have tracked its progress, however, even though it got back over 3 weeks ago my money has not yet been returned.

Ordered two of these, one for us and one for the father in law. Upon receipt they felt sturdy and of good quality, however after about 7 months use both shower heads fell off, seems there is a weak link where it connects to the hose. While they lasted they were a good tap, one replacement fitted and working again fine, the other was returned for a refund.

This tap is much taller than I expected. It is simply fantastic. You get a normal tap AND a hose spray. The lever at the bottom controls flow and temp. It can be left ON and then flow controlled from the tap "stalk" OR from the spray where flow is controlled by the lever on the spray head.

If your hot and cold are from different supplies - ie hot gravity fed, cold mains pressure - you need to be careful. The tap mixes the hot/cold inside the tap.In my case I have .8 BAR hot and 3 BAR cold. When the tap is 50/50 hot/cold you can hear the mains water feeding backwards up the hot supply.

To stop this you must fit a non-return valve to the hot supply. This stops water feeding in reverse up the hot pipe. The problem here is that the non-return valve constricts and reduces further the flow of hot water. You can use a 22mm non-return valve with adapters on each side - 15-22 and 22-15. This has less flow restriction.

However the best solution is to fit a pump.
