Unpractical 9 July 2009
This is a solar panel alarm clock that needs batteries, Often.
The only positive thing I can say for it is that it shows room temperature as well as the time.
It's fiddly, the alarm sound is horrendous (definitely wakes you up), it's Huge on my nightstand, the snooze button is hard to hit seeing it's not on the top but on the face of it, I could go on. ..... Buy an environmental clock from someone else, this is more of a gimmick.

it's not that bad... 27 Aug 2010

Having just read the above 2 reviews on this clock, i don't think it is that bad...i have had mine now for about a year, and i have not needed to replace a battery yet. I don't find it difficult to find the snooze button. The alarm has an electronic pip, that pips intermittently increasing as time goes by, which works okay for me. The temperature feature is useful too. The night light uses power, and runs out if you use it too much, but it can be regenerated by placing the clock in sunlight. Perhaps that is why other people have had to replace batteries, because their clock wasn't getting enough light. Maybe not the best clock, but i am enjoying it for sure.

The device has a good concept, but London Clock could not follow through.

Being radio controlled, the clock automatically adjusts every night, and is therefore very accurate.

It fails as an alarm clock, the solar panel is insufficient to regenerate the power used and a battery replacement becomes a must. I am disappoint with the design.

The entire clock is cheap, which would be okay if the buttons worked properly. Although London Clock emphasised build quality and pride in its advertisements, beware it is just marketing.

I WILL NEVER BUY A LONDON CLOCK PRODUCT AGAIN.

PS: I would have given a zero star rating if it were possible because it hopelessly fails to deliver, and the price is actually expensive for an alarm clock.
