Really great to use, very sturdy, loads of room to write and you get to look at inspiring / interesting artwork every week. I bought my first one at Tate Modern 3 years ago and won't buy any other diary now.

By Parka HALL OF FAME TOP 50 REVIEWER
Format:Hardcover
Length: 0:29 Mins
This book is a showcase of great product designs from over 90 designers all over the world. They include individuals as well as big name companies. The book is written in English, German and French.

Each designer has a short writeup into his/her design inspiration and philosophy. They also talk about the challenges they face. For example, James Dyson had over 5000 prototypes before perfecting the vacuum cleaner. There's also a short biography, exhibitions, awards and client list.

This is a great reference book for anyone looking for inspiration or who wants to look at beautifully designed products.

Nothing much new 15 Dec 2011
By G Whiteman - Published on Amazon.com

I looked through this book I got from the Library in a couple of hours and the stuff is not really interesting . Most of the 'designs' , I thought were mere novelty items or styles .For a thing to be a new design it must accomplish a new task or overcome a problem or have the x factor in design style .Most of the selections I thought were just new styles or gimmicks . An expensive book to find this out . Hope this might save you money.
