Format:Spiral-bound
I was looking for a book to help me knit the items I design and adapt existing patterns. This is not the book I was looking for. It basically tells you what Debbie Bliss designs and why she has included a type of embellishment. There are a few patterns as examples in there too.
I'm glad this has helped alot of other people but not me. I was looking for technical help and this is not that sort of book

This book is very disappointing I did not feel that I learned much from it Much more needs to be included if it is to help the knitter who wants to design their own knitting projects

This is one of the best books by Debbie Bliss. Not perhaps for the novice knitter but as a designer myself I find it a delight.

Good but Americanised
Definitely good ideas but one of the pictures (naturally the first one I wanted to make) didn't have instructions. Also the Americanisms really start to grate after a while.
