HASH(0x952fb174) out of 5 stars Great book for understanding what is design 15 Jan. 2014
By F. Casas - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I read the book from the university library and ever since I have looked for a Kindle version. This book is full with references from many authors that you find it invaluable when teaching a course on philosophy of design.

HASH(0x952fb114) out of 5 stars Good overview 4 Feb. 2013
By O. Torres - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a great book for anyone interested in design history. There are foundational texts beginning at the Industrial Revolution that really set the groundwork for the rest of the book.

HASH(0x95a48078) out of 5 stars Not very informatrive about design 3 April 2014
By Al Gowan - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Few photographs, narrow focus on the decorative arts.
I would not recommend it to students. Other than the bright cover, it offers little.

This is a text book. It was received slightly damaged on the lower spine, but not beyond use. Packaging could have been better.
