Aside from the usual Moroccan design books, you must add this one to your reference library. It has all the usual features that one would associate with Moroccan design - painted cedar ceilings, thuya wood crafts, zellige, brass lanterns, carpets, tadelakt, banquettes, etc. It gives a short historical snapshot of how these design ideas came about and how they are being used, not only by the Moroccans, but by some of the top-notch designers working from the country today. Pictures are clear and attractive and the text is highly informative and written in a casual and comprehensible style. Highly recommended.
