If you're looking for a film about deconstructionism this is not the film for you, if you're looking for an interesting biography and interview about the man behind the theory then this will be a highly interesting watch.

very low information value; instead a mannerist visual story that tests a viewer's patience; totally deferential to the cryptic thinker/writer; a pseudo-dramatic hand-held camera work does not redeem long moments when nothing happens in Derrida's kitchen; the film bent on suggesting unfathomable depths of Derrida's work and his life; students of philosophy or literary theory won't get anything out of it; film students - just the contrary: how not to make a documentary biographical film
