Product Description

These are the amazing stories of psychic interventions by TV's favourite psychic, Derek Acorah. The star of LIVING tv's 'Ghost Towns' shares incredible real-life tales of dramatic rescues, dream visitations and near-death experiences from his own life and the lives of many of the people he has worked with. The book includes: Why hauntings occur, and why certain locations are 'chosen' by the ghost; miraculous survival stories which defy explanation, including remarkable medical recoveries; near-death experiences, and an answer to the question 'what is it really like to die?'; spirit visitations - how and why spirits can visit earth, and how psychic medium communication works; real-life dramas and what happened when those from the afterlife intervened; and what these encounters with the spirit world mean, and how they prove the existence of life after death.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 2 Mar 2007

I bought this book in August 2007, as I liked the way Derek worked on "Most Haunted" and "Ghost Towns".

You'll find out some of his amazing encounters, they really are fascinating and keep you on the edge of your seat.

It's a compulsive read as well as being very interesting. It was the fist book I'd read by Derek and I know it wouldn't be the last.

Personally it took me 24hrs to read this book as I just couldn't put it down. It's well worth the money and I've now just bought his latest which I'm about to start reading. :-)

1.0 out of 5 stars oracle news, 21 April 2008
By oracle news (south yorkshire) - See all my reviews
i have watched derek acorah on most haunted and after reading tony stockwells fantastic book, thought id buy derek acorahs book. i only read half of the book. the amazing stories which were promised in this book were very short and rather boring. i was waiting for the indepth accounts of pyschic events which had happened, but never reached them. my eyes werent drooping when reading this book because i couldnt put the book down, but the total opposite: because it was rather dull. sorry derek, you seem a lovely guy, but the book was pants!
