Depth Charge Danger is a very exciting book for all ages. It shows realistic pictures of u-boats and what it was like in the War. The best part is when they sink the Tirpitz
Bought this for my 6 year old son (for us to read to him)who just loves ships and submarines. This was right up his street. Contains everything you would want in an adventure story under the sea. Educational as well, as about WW2. My son has a model of the Tirpitz, so knew quite a bit in advance. He asked lots of questions as we were reading. Chapters not too long, so child does not lose interest and the pace of the story is good. A great book for children who love submarines.
