I decided to download this book since it’s very reasonably priced and I’ve been dealing with a minor case of the blues. While short, it gets right to the point. The author talks about the different kinds of depression, and delves into both traditional and alternative methods for treating depression. Basically, it offers a great overview so that the reader can choose methods that might work best for them. I especially liked the alternative/natural approaches detailed by the author as traditional therapy is out of financial reach for me at this time. I’m hopeful that this will help me to turn the corner and get back to a happier me.

I've read John Rogers books before. They're very informative and well written. So when I picked up this eBook I wasn't surprised that it would be a great read. The Cure is a well informed book about onset depression and how to take steps to overcome the overwhelming-ness that depression can uphold. It seems excellent to me than the typical book that tries to treat depressions saying that you must bring to cabos tasks that you like, distract yourself, etc. Although in some ways it is important I like the part where focuses more than everything not to idealize things, since doing so we don't have sufficient preparation to deal with if a result comes out different. In general very good book.
