A great book for anyone interested in tooth morphology.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dental Morphology: An Illustrated Guide (Paperback)
This is a very well illustrated book, which takes you step-by-step through the basics of tooth morpholgy. It takes you through the individual teeth, both deciduous and permanent dentitions, pointing out differences between the separate teeth and also the variations from the left and right sides of the mouth. These sections are easy to follow and are summarised in bullet-point form at the end of each tooth. The book then goes on to endodontic anatomy, describing the root structure of each tooth in detail, along with details of formation and eruption dates for each. This is a detailed, yet easy to understand dental morphology title, one which i have found extremely useful so far as a dental student, and one that I am certain I will put to good use again in the not too distant future.

Good for someone who wants an introduction about dental morphology and is thinking to put their knowledge into practice.
The illustrations are clear and have good descriptions about the teeth.

1st Year CORE TEXT,

DO NOT be tempted to learn morphology by meager depictions in physiology/anatomy texts. This is the product of years of work on behalf of the author/illustrator. The only way you will pass your first year vivas with any luck is by knowing this book inside out. It also contains useful canal measurements for when you come to pulpal disease courses. Buy it, Read it, Learn it, Keep it.
