Very basic- information all over the place. Everybody knows we need to eat healthy to have a good healthy teeth this book just reminds us that we need to eat rainbow foods to get healthy teeth.
It doesn't cover any real dental issues just basic information most people already know.
i was looking for book to actually heal cavities- no information found in this book.
It has not even mentioned silicia which is so important for healthy teeth.
It states that calcium in milk is important- where most people know that milk bought in shops have little calcium and lot of steroids.
Milk from grass fed caws would be good option- but not mentioned in this book.
if you buy book "20000 secrets of tea"- you will get much more information how to detoxify your body naturally and take specific teas for teeth and gum health.

Dental Herbalism Natural Therapies for the Mouth
By Leslie M. Alexander, PhD., RH(AHG) and Linda Straub-Bruce, BS Ed, RDH
I am in a good position to review this book, professionally as an herbalist of nearly thirty years, and personally, as a woman with dental and periodontal challenges that started in early childhood and that gradually led me to become an herbalist!
Dental Herbalism is a beautifully designed, helpful book, well written and filled with more information about mouth health and related illnesses than most people will even want to know. However, more info is better than less because the reader can pick and choose where to place her attention.
Herbal practitioners and dental practitioners will want it all, while everyday folks looking to take better care of their mouths and overall health with the help of herbs will find the clear guidance they need in Dental Herbalism.
Dental Herbalism fills a near void in herbal literature, providing a thorough herbal material medica for care of the mouth complete with competent instructions on how to prepare and use these herbs. (There is also a section on herbal mouth care in my book, The Gift of Healing Herbs). Dental Herbalism guides us to connect mouth care with whole body/whole person care. The authors include information on everything ranging from general mouth anatomy and health, to diagnoses affecting the mouth, to food and drink as well as herbal medicines to help the reader regain or sustain mouth health at any age. Helpful information for interacting with your dentist and evaluating recommended dental advice and procedures is also provided.
Leslie Alexander and Linda Straub-Bruce have gifted us all with a book that is clearly written, chock full of helpful information and offers us healing wisdom regarding the use of herbs for the care of the mouth.
