When this was launched in 2009 it was given excellent reviews. Just because we are 3 years on and it has dropped by at least £100 doesn't make it any less good. My cost £99.99 from another Amazon Market Trader - Richer Sounds. At sub-£100 it must be one of the best CD players at the price.
Build quality is excellent and the CD drawer is formed with substantial sides and is not just a flimsy tray like other players at this price. I am using mine through a Logic3 Valve 80 Amplifier -
Logic3 Valve 80 Hybrid Vacuum iPod Dock Amplifier with Remote Control and I am extremely pleased with its performance. Here is an excerpt from my review of the Valve 80 using the Denon CD player which I bought at the same time:-

"To give it a proper test I checked it out with my new DENON DCD510AE CD player which also came today. After making sure everything was setup correctly using the HiFi News & Record Review Test CD, I put on 'I've Got the Music in me' Thelma Houston & Pressure Cooker from the long defunct Sheffield Labs. The LP version of this used to be the standard demo discs used by HiFi shops to show off turntables. Sheffield Labs later released it on CD and it is an excellent disc to highlight flaws in your system and to burn in new speakers if left on repeat. I was amazed at how good this disc sounded. A wide sound stage with Thelma Houston spot in the middle on the vocal tracks and the instrumental tracks sounded so focused and sharp.
One CD I always find struggles a little is the RCA Victor Living Stereo Stars & Stripes, Cakewalk with Arthur Fiedler conducting the Boston Pops Orchestra. This was recorded in 1958, the same year as Western Electric released the first stereo disc cutter and the Living Stereo label was launched. All of the CD's in the series are from the original master tapes and really give the amp and cd player a good work out. While not perfect the Logic 3 held its own and reproduced this recording better than I would have thought it would. The triangles are pin sharp and easily heard above the rest of the orchestra. Living Stereo do a wide range of different CD's and everyone should have at least one to test out their system."

The remote control is quite large but well made and gives comprehensive and easy control of the main unit.
This CD player is an absolute bargain and I would snap one up before they are discontinued.
