I liked this film I can see it's gotten a couple of not so good reviews, but on the contrary it was actually pretty good. If you don't go into expecting an Evil Dead clone then I'm sure you'll find it pleasantly surprising. First off it is pretty low budget, but I'm a fan of low budget movies maybe that's why I took a shine to this title. There isn't really much to go by with the gore department but the character development was very good, and the females ain't all that bad to look at. I won't boil over and go on and on about the plot because it's all there if you read the synopsis of the movie. I would recommend this if your like me enjoy a movie for it's entertainment value and isn't looking for academy award winning performances because you won't get That here. I for one am glad to add it to my movie collection, a low budget demonic gem.

This is a fairly average, Evil Dead style, scary cabin in the woods tale.
Michelle is an attractive, twenty-something Latino lady, who's on meds for a depressive illness and is plagued by nightmarish visions. She's just ditched her cheating boyfriend, and takes her four closest female friends to her family's weekend retreat, a very impressive looking, secluded log cabin in a forest. The five college pals all look like catwalk models, display acres of cleavage, have some serious men issues, and want a weekend of booze-fuelled debauchery. One of the friends, Sharon, is a prankster who likes toying with her pals, she's the live wire in this tale and by far the most engaging character.
The girls discover an ouija board in the basement and try to make contact with Michelle's deceased grandmother, Grace. Unwittingly, they manage to rouse a demon spirit, who takes possession of Michelle...
This is a watchable but unexceptional horror flick, which probably should have been a 15 rather than 18 certificate, it has the vibe of a pretty mild, glossy scary movie aimed at teens. The attractive cast are likeable enough and the acting is okay. The CGI is a bit low rent and the film score too obviously flags up whenever something horrible is about too happen. Michelle is the only actress who disrobes, on several occasions, which is de rigeuer for this type of movie. Unfortunately, the acting takes a nosedive as and when each girl is possessed by the evil spirits, they suddenly start moving about as if they're having a speeded up epileptic fit and it's a bit silly really. The sound effects for the demons are a bit derivative and don't really work.
The movie overall isn't actually scary or shocking, and frankly, it's not that much more graphic than an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

This is another cabin in the woods story. Michelle (AnnaMaria Demara) who takes meds has bad dreams about girls with bad hair and nasty contacts. They are so bad she wakes up with her high beams on. On top of all of that her bf Randy (Grant Alan Ouzts) has been cheating on her. She heads out to the family house and her four Delta sisters show up to comfort her...and play Ouija board in the demonically possessed cabin.

Dana (Michelle Nunes) has a bf Brian who she thinks is different from all the other guys.

Kelly (Jamie Strange) is our token blond who get nervous when they talk about Randy. She just broke up with her boyfriend who was "just a guy."

Jackie (Kate Siegel) likes Kelly who doesn't return the love.

Sharon (Kati Sharp) makes the film worth while. She likes to play jokes.

The film goes very well building character. I really started liking Sharon and then it happened. Possession is 6/10 ths of the film and it wasn't very good. They gave the possessed girls goofy make up and sped up the camera when they moved as if they had broken bones or something. The film had a 5 star build up and then went stupid with too much too soon.

Parental Guide: F-bomb. Nudity (AnnaMaria Demara, Cortney Palm, Kate Siegel )

Boring. Thought it would be good but it wasn't. An hour and twenty minutes of my life I will never get back.
