Product Description

Book II of Democracy’s Right.

The rebels have won a great victory, shattering the Empire’s grip on Sector 117. Starships are mutinying, the Empire’s power and authority are crumbling and the rebels are making their way towards Earth. Their victory seems inevitable.

But, as news of the rebellion finally reaches Earth, the Thousand Families start preparing for all-out war. The Empire has a war leader, a colossal advantage in firepower and the determination to do whatever it takes to destroy the rebels before they can win.

As both sides rush towards a titanic confrontation, they know that whoever wins will inherit the Empire. But, with humanity’s mighty civilisation threatening to collapse, they may only inherit a desert called peace.

More About the Author

Christopher Nuttall has been planning sci-fi books since he learned to read. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Chris created an alternate history website and eventually graduated to writing full-sized novels. Studying history independently allowed him to develop worlds that hung together and provided a base for storytelling. After graduating from university, Chris started writing full-time. As an indie author, he has published ten novels (so far) through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. The Royal Sorceress is his first novel to be professionally published. Chris is currently living in Borneo with his partner, muse, and critic Aisha.

Christopher's novel, The Royal Sorceress, will be published by Elsewhen Press in paperback in Feb.

Chris has a blog where he published updates, snippets and world-building notes at http://chrishanger.wordpress.com/ and a website at http://www.chrishanger.net.

As a matter of principle, all of Chris's self-published Kindle books are DRM-free.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nuttall does it again! 29 Mar 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
What is it with this guy? Since I discovered Christopher Nuttall, I've lost track of how many of his books I've read. And never a damp squib amongst them. This is another cracker. The challenge now is to wait as patiently as possible for part three! At least there are still plenty more of CN's books I haven't yet read. In case I've been overly subtle - I recommend Democracy's Might as a cracking good read. Thank you, Mr N.

Full of intrigue and watching your back has the story unfolds, Admiral Walker walks a fine tightrope looking for a way of winning a victory for the rebels.
Sometimes it goes to easily for the rebels with only a few set backs
The ending is good and definitely did not see that coming!
I am looking forward for the next part
