5.0 out of 5 stars Quick note on the content... 20 Nov 2013
This 'poetical works' of Southey is a useful addition to Delphi's list - this one-time laureate's works are now difficult to find, and it's nice to have a well-formatted edition available at last, especially for such a low price.

I'm mainly writing this to alert buyers to a particularly intriguing 'extra', which Delphi have seen fit to include - namely the complete text of Thomas De Quincey's 'Reflections on the Lake Poets'. This is a brilliantly bitchy series of studies of several Romantic poets (not just Southey) and is currently the only Kindle edition available!

5.0 out of 5 stars Delphi Delivers Again 14 Nov 2013
By K. Howe - Published on Amazon.com
Go ahead--try to find a complete works of Robert Southey in print. Oh, you might find a hundred-plus-year-old edition that's falling to pieces, or you might buy an OCR'd reprint of *some* of Southey, but you won't find anything like the Delphi e-book. Southey used to be a big deal but fell out of favor, but I've been meaning for years to give him a try. What stopped me? The lack of a good complete edition of his works. Thanks to Amazon and thanks to Delphi Classics, I finally have the opportunity to check out this laureate's work. Isn't it great living in the future?
