    I bought one of these two winters ago to keep my baby warm at night. I didn't want the cost of running the central heating all night but wanted to keep my son from getting too cold while asleep. I place it next to the cot and just out of his reach and it has worked well.
    It is important to note that this is, in the true sense of the word, a Radiator, it radiates heat out to whatever is in front of it. There is a small grill in the back that you get warm air flow through but not much. If you place your hand a foot above it, you will not feel much warmth. If you place your hand a foot in front of it, you will. As such, it is good for keeping warm a specific spot such as a cot, sleeping person, dog basket, plant, etc... It is not good at heating a room. Over winter, though it kept my son's cot warm, the air temperature in the room was only raised by a degree or two.
    It is small, thin and not heavy so is easy to move around and it can also be fastened onto the wall if desired. On full power the surface gets hot enough to burn if you keep your hand on it though not so hot that brushing against it briefly will burn you.
    At 400 watts maximum it is far cheaper to run than a conventional oil filled radiator which tend to be a minimum of 1,000 watts and designed for heating the whole room. Plugged in via a small energy meter I saw that it cost me around 22-28p a night at an electric charge of 21p per unit.
    If, like me, you want to keep a specific item or person warm this is ideal. If you want to heat a whole room, I'd suggest looking at an electric convector heater or much larger oil filled radiator minimum of 1,000 watts though these would cost far more to run.

    This Is the best thing i have got all year. for the price and heat output this is just what you need. I dont have central heating or double glazed windows, this thing is the only heat i get and on medium this thing kicks out some good heat....

    10/10 For this one.

    I have to say the size is good.. I do like it.. The heat is not that as powerful as I thought. I only bought it because the running cost is low.
    I would recommand it for small rooms.
