The DEC14 portable dehumidifier has a 14 litre per day extraction rate, is quiet in operation and has a built in carry handle to ensure it can be moved around the home with ease. Not only great for removing moisture from the air, the DEC14 is also ideal for drying clothes. The built in humidistat function enables you to set moisture to a comfortable energy saving level. The top mounted control panel is easy to use and has a cover for added safety. Other features include Anti frost setting for use in low temperatures, large 4 litre tank, washable dust filter and IP24 rated splash proof cover. Comes standard with a permanent drain facility kit.

    I have owned a DEC10 model for 3 years & have experienced no problems at all. However due to the layout of my home I needed something bigger. The DEC14 has been perfect so far & is very efficient. Its much better in a room with laundry than the smaller model due to its extraction. It cuts the drying time considerably. I use the 10 for the bedrooms & the 14 near the bathroom & when drying laundry.
    I highly recommend this product for anyone with a 2 bed flat especially over the winter months. I haven't had any condensation on my windows. I have noticed the 14 is slightly more noisy than the 10, also the 14 works better in lower temperatures than my 10.

    This product is fantastic! We live in a three bedroom sandstone house that has no insulation and until recently had no heating. The walls were wet to touch and we couldn't put anything near them; the mould was winning .... until we bought this. Even without heating, the dehumidifier was drawing about 4 litres of water in 24 hours. The air even feels drier. We now keep it set between min. and med. and only turn it to high when the washing needs drying; it's great for that too. I would highly recommend this product.

    I have a two bedroom end terrace detached ground floor flat. When I bought this house 2 years back the next winter was miserable for me as it generated too much condensation especially on the outer walls side and on windows. Initially, I didn't understand the problem and made various assumptions like it might be a leakage from the drain somewhere or damp rise etc. I painted the walls with damp proof paint the next spring so that it would have enough time to dry up in the summer. Since with the change of season the problem settled but this autumn, the problem started again. I immediately realised that its nothing but condensation. Since we cook a lot at home and mostly in cold weather we fail to provide enough ventilation as a reason the hot air in the house finds cold spots and starts creating condensation on the colder areas of the house.
    I read various reviews about the dehumidifier and checked numerous sites and even spoke to DeLonghi before making my selection.
    Now I would say that DeLonghi DEC14 proved very helpful and solved my problem. Earlier I used to spend almost half of my kitchen roll in cleaning the water from windows every morning but now I don't have to!
    Overall, I am satisfied that I have made a good selection!
