It's hard to explain, but the mouse feels rubberised and the shape is very comfortable to hold. Even if you don't have giant hands, the side buttons are easily in reach of your thumb. Underneath, care has been taken to make sure the feet don't wear out too quickly, or collect dirt, and the mouse glides effortlessly across the mouse mat. The scroll wheel appears to be made of metal with a rubber surface and can be set to free-wheeling or incremental movement. Free-wheeling is brilliant for scrolling through long lists or web-pages, although obviously less appropriate for gaming. There is a button on the mouse to adjust the cursor travel speed and together with the alien's head logo, the indicator lights can be made to glow different colours, for which there is a desktop app. Although badged as an Alienware mouse, it is apparently a Logitech design. I really can't recommend it highly enough.
This product is excellent, a long wire cable for the mouse (and my pc is a long distance from where i have the mousemat; despite this, the cable is easily long enough to reach)
The mouse itself is an ergonomic design and is a very nice size (it fits my hand very nicely) which makes it excellent for me to use for gaming.
The alienware colours that can be customised to different colours when using different applications is a nice bonus, as well as the sensitivity change buttons on the mouse itself (would be incredibly useful if you like a lower sensitivity for sniping etc).
As far as sensitivity is concerned, it is incredibly sensitive and i'd say even somebody who has excessively sensitive mice will find this one has a high enough sensitivity (5000dpi).
All in all working great and although slightly pricey, I believe it is far superior to other mice, especially logitec mice which seem to have bad reviews for being faulty.
If problems exist, then i'll be sure to correct and amend this review.

Although pricey I am pleased with this mouse. The build quality is very good and goes very with the Alienware keyboard. Great for gaming, although I do find clicking the mouse wheel (when used as a button) a tad difficult to use.
