I think, especially, his great symphonic poem "Eventyr" is the best track of this CD.
This work was based on Asbjornsen's (as you know, the first famous poet) Norwegian Stories.
The theme of "La Calinda" was taken from Delius' first successful work "Florida Suite"
The performances are very good. I think, these are among the best performances of New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and they're actually a very good orchestra. (Another successful recording of is, the Symphonies of Stravinsky, available on Naxos).
Highly recommended.
