I am really pleased with this lipstick, especially as I bought it in something of a hurry - I'm expected at an 80s-themed Christmas wingding next week and I am presently trying to give myself as many options as possible in the costume department. In this particular case, I am giving serious consideration to turning up as one half of the Eurythmics. True, I have the beard and the chromosomes to be a much more natural choice for a 21st Century Dave Stewart... but then again, that would be far too predictable. No, I'm going to be Annie Lennox. After all, what I lack in authentic feminine charm I more than make up for in smart suits and ties. And now, of course, I have this lipstick, which will compliment my grey Windsor knot and braces a real treat.
The description of this lipstick specifically mentions that it will make your lips feel 'soft, supple and oh so kissable'; Well, the soft and supple I will go with, although I am basing that purely on two days' extensive wear with no subsequent lower lip exfoliation / severe burning sensation (I usually get my lipsticks down the market you see, via the back of some sort of lorry). I must say, this one feels luxurious. As to whether it will leave my lips 'kissable' or not, I genuinely shudder to think how I'm going to even begin to test that theory. I think I might just pretend I've got the flu... .
