This product seems to work but in a small space.
It does gather moisture and once it goes pink i take it out of the cradle, remove the plastic cap, stand it in a jug and microwave it for 5 -7 mins on low otherwise the crystals will burn. Then let it cool down and replace cap and place in cradle. If it is still pink after 10 mins, pop back in micro as before for few mins.

Not at all happy with this product. First time I put one egg in the microwave, it completely melted!! would never buy again.
I have to agree with the other reviews here. It feels dodgy putting this thing in the microwave, the plastic stand is very cheap (though to be fair, I get I'm only paying £6.50), but as others have said the rubber bung suffers in the microwave (it shrivels up) leaving all the crystals to go everywhere. As the bung is knackered, and there is nothing left to hold the crystals in, its basically useless. However, if you were careful, you could back in its stand upside down, but keep the hoover handy in case you knock it over. Basically move on, its rubbish really.

egg shape dehumidifier
I bought this product from another distribution person and it worked for about a month then as i was re-hydrating its bottom came off and the crystals exploded all over my kitchen.

The EGG's done good
For small areas like cupboards the Egg does a great job, my salt and spices now come out of the jars. For bigger areas get a dehumidifier :)

I used one in my tiny bathroom & on two windows, didnt notice much differanct & i re-microwaved them regulary to dry out, but for the money spos you get wot you pay for.
