Former lead singer with Kansas, Jon Elefante is less well known as a producer of Contemporary Christian themed music, though it seems tragic to me that that "label" will limit his audience .
The music here can at times be a little "nice" for some tastes, but the christian message isn't rammed down your throat. When it works it has an uplifting quality that at times "soars" - listen to the title track & "The stream"
"Don't Leave the Band" has a Beatles like feel that just "works" very poppy

As a Kansas fan for many years we purchased the album, not realising it was a Christian Rock Album. Well whether or not you are a Christian, this is so worth buying, yes the lyrics are Christian based and beautiful to listen to. Musically, its a feast for the ears.
