This is a long novel but it isn't a slog to read. Jilana is a strong and likeable girl who is present at all the historical milestones of this uprising right up the final defeat of the Iceni and you feel all the emotions along with her along with some surprising twists.

Very recommended as a holiday read and as a keeper for home.

I loved this book!!! The story is amazing and the charactors are likable and easily understood. The romance between the main charactors is breathtaking.
The love scenes are a little graphic for my taste, but that doesn't take away from the book in any way.
A great read.

I have read this book so many times over the tears and I cannot recommend it enough. It has everything you could ask for, action and adventure, love and romance with plenty of twists and turns. The only thing I'd like now is for this to be available on kindle and that way I can take it everywhere!

This book is a keeper. I have had it for years and years and lost count of the times I have re-read it. The main characters are so believable and likeable and the authors insight to this time period is fascinating. It is so much more than a historical romance, yet ticks all the boxes for that as well. You will be so glad you bought this.
