Cannot wait for the next release because 2006 Defiant was by far my favourite VICE SQUAD album EVER.
Beki showed the world that she has not mellowed with time - the production is a bit too modern on this album I guess that is the case with most artists that do not have access to vintage gear.
Production criticisms aside, the songs on Defiant shine through like a beacon in a world where most lyricists 'tow the corporate line'.
Beki's F.You vocal style and cutting lyrics are the perfect commentary on the world today.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for young and older punks alike.

Beki Bondage and her (new) gang gives us some decent punk/hard rock on this album. With a powerfull, although somewhat sterile and too clean protools production, they bash out some really good punkrock here. At times there's some good songwriting as well so with a little more dirt and less production this could have been dynamite. Anyway it's still pretty enjoyable so don't be fooled by the terrible artwork which looks more like a demo from an amateur metal band.
