Cape provides an excellent introduction for solicitors or police station representatives, and particularly those in training. Carrying this book will provide many of the answers to procedural questions and a framework for constructing any representations.

The book presents the key elements of PACE in a readable format. Essential reading.

The second edition of Ed Capes Defending suspects at the police station is a must for any budding criminal lawyer. Whether you are studying the LLB, LPC or are looking to move into the area of criminal law you first port of call will be your police station accreditation. Ed Capes book is a must prior to commencement of your accreditation.

A vast array of circumstances and areas are covered and in great detail, it is easy to follow and has copies of the codes of practice in the annex's.

It has details of when to stop and interview and how to intervene, and how to use the PACE sections to your advantage whilst at the Police Station.

A MUST for any police station adviser!
